Duck was Great...Great Service from the staff. I used to go to Chinatown to buy the Roast Duck. Now the Sons are taking over since the parents retired. upbeat location in Bernal Heights. Try it! When you are in the neighborhood. YUMMY DUCKY

We've added Hing Lung to our movie theatre routine. Step 1: BART/Muni to Chinatown and pick up a meat combo with bao buns. Step 2: BART/Muni to Yerba Buena - just a short walk to the Metreon. Step 3: Stop in the food court to assemble meat and buns, and place them in a container we brought with us. Step 4 (AKA Profits!!): Enjoy delicious food while lounging in comfy chairs and watching a movie. I have to say the main thing that stands out to me that indicates that HL is better than the other places in Chinatown is that when you arrive near closing time, they have very few ducks left or they are completely out. That's the way it should be. I'm wary of a place that has a full window of ducks at the end of the day. I mean what are they going to do with all the leftover ducks that didn't sell??? Sell them the next day ? BB

I grew up eating a lot of roasted duck and Chinese bbq so when I stumbled upon this place online, I knew I had to give it a try. This establishment is not a sit down restaurant but a meat shop where you order your roasted items and eat it at home. The roasted duck is delectable and has the perfect fat to meat ratio. I love how the staff offers an abundance of sauces such as plum sauce, ginger scallion oil, and duck sauce. Their ginger scallion oil is to die for! The roasted pork is great but you would need to eat it right away so that the skin stays crispy. Wish the skin was crispier but other than that, the pork is very favorable and nicely roasted. Definitely worth a trip if you are in Chinatown.
